1 Peter 3:3-4

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewellery or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. - 1 Peter 3:3,4

About

This blog is dedicated to helping our sisters in Christ in following God for themselves. We aim to help our peers deal with peer pressure, dig into Gods Word, prevent vulnerable girls from making the wrong decisions, and encourage young girls to follow the path that God wants them to.

1 Peter 1:3-4 says: "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewellery or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight."

This is a beauitful passage from the bible and is our inspiration to start this blog. Girls let your inner beauty shine through. So every week we will choose a topic and write an article about it. If the topic is broad we will break it down and discuss it over the weeks.

Our aim is to reach and talk to girls across the world, aged 12-year-old's to the late teens. There are no limits on the ages of readers. Our articles will be aimed at that audience, but if you are younger or older, you are more than welcome and encouraged to visit the site. We pray for God's wisdom and hand in what to say and will also refer to the bible for each article.

The purpose and goal of Unfading Elegance is to help mentor and encourage girls in the direction that Christ Jesus wants them to go. To protect them from making the wrong decisions that could affect them in the long run. Decisions that they may not even know will hurt them.

We are very interested to hear what you think about every article, and will try and answer every question to the best of our ability. We encourage you to leave comments. They help us with future ideas and topics.

We hope you enjoy Unfading Elegance. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.
God Bless,
Meggie and Taleisha.
